Hello!

Do I ever do anything except apologise for not blogging!?

My days are all rolling into one at the moment and with various knitting, crochet and cross stitch projects on the go my paper stash is crying loneliness!

I've got a baby card to do this weekend so will hopefully have something to enter into the challenges.

I just wanted to pop along to tell you all I'm taking part in the Cancer Research Race for Life tomorrow with my Mum. This will be the 3rd time we have done it, it's always an emotional day but one filled with smiles as well as tears. As always my Mum is wearing my Auntie Maureen's name on her back sign and sadly this year I will be wearing my friend Kerry's name. Kerry was only 33 when she lost her long-fought battle with cancer in February and although there is now a bright beautiful star in the sky, life on earth is more than just a little bit dull without her.

I have added a sponsorship badge to my profile (top right), it would be amazing if some of you lovely people in blogland could sponsor me, every penny helps.

Back tomorrow, hugs Hayley xxx

  1. Hi there, I just wanted to pop by and tell you about the Wild Rose Studio blog hop, you could win 7 of their stamps and three paper pads, all you have to do is make a christmas themed card, and you dont have to use a Wild Rose studio stamp or product. (Although we would love it if you did)And then comment, on all of the DT blogs. Come and join in the fun. Would love to see you there (http://blog.wildrosestudio.co.uk/)

  2. Hayley, Thanks for your recent comment. Like you,, I have been a bad blogger too. Life just catches up sometimes. Hoping your Race for Life went well (was ages ago I know!!)but saddened to read of your friend. Been there myself as I had Ovarian Cancer in 2009 - thankfully well now. DO keep in touch and happy crafting once you get your mojo back hun :)
